Membership Fees

Social Membership - the Annual Fee from 2012 is £195 for a Single Membership, which is payable as a lump sum upon application, and is fully inclusive up until 31 December.

New Members joining from 1st May onwards are entitled to pay a reduced fee of £149 in the first year.

Joint Membership is available for only an additional £125.

Corporate Membership - is also available for an annual fee of £875 - this gives an entitlement to the equivalent of four individual social memberships and is transferable. This also gives an entitlement to an advertising banner link on our website.

There is no limit to the number of social memberships you can purchase, subject to availability – so you can also purchase for other members of the family or friends. We operate a "Members for Members" Scheme whereby anyone introducing six new social members to the Club will be entitled to a free gift.

A Membership Pack comprising Racing Club metal badge, membership certificate, copy of the club rules, pedigrees and photos of the horses is supplied to each social member upon joining.

Prize money won by the club's racehorses is distributed between syndicate members throughout the financial year. Social members are not owners of the horse(s) unless a full Ownership Share is purchased, so there is no entitlement to a share of the prize money or proceeds of the eventual sale of the horse(s). However, any Social Member wishing to purchase a full Ownership Share of the horse(s) can do so by paying the appropriate share of the capital value of the horse(s), and share of training fees, details of which are shown on the Ownership Share page.

Social Members will find updates on the Club website page "News & Results" at regular intervals giving information about the progress of the horses and racing plans etc. together with details of social events on the "Events & Hospitality" page.

Badges for entry to racecourses when our horses race are provided at a discounted price as appropriate. There will not normally be any free badge allocation to Social Members.
